Overview:


We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Assistant Administrator, the role is focused on sampling & deliveries.


As an Assistant Administrator on Sampling & Deliveries, you will play a crucial role in ensuring all of our sample orders and regular orders get processed and dispactched on time.


Responsibilities:


  • Being organised and proactive in dealing with incomplete/late orders. After you have taken an order from a customer you will be responsible for adding it to our systems and checking that it has been shipped to the customer. We aim to anticipate issues before they become a problem for our customers (for example, noticing an order has not been delivered, chasing it up, and letting the customer know about any delay before they call).
  • Placing orders on our order management system and on our supplier's order management systems.
  • Building up a detailed knowledge of our product range so you are able to improve the process of orders and deliveries.
  • Receiving and dispatching orders from many of our thirdparty courier companies. Ensuring packages are secured for redelivery.
  • Matching up samples to sample orders each day as they are received by postal services and booking in for dispatch on our system, plus the use of our franking machine.
  • Ensuring post is franked correctly and dropped at the drop off point around the corner each day.
  • Assisting the business with any other packaging needs for curtain orders from our inhouse curtain workroom, if and when required.

Skills:


  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides)
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
  • Knowledge of basic clerical and administrative procedures
  • Familiarity with phone etiquette and professional communication
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information


This is a part time position of 3 hours per day Monday to Friday that can be fulfilled around the hours of 9:30am - 2pm with some degree of flexibility.

The general hours of business are from pm Monday to Friday.

£10.76-£11.19 per hour
