Description
Hours of work are Monday - Friday working a 3 Shift system rotating 06.00am-2.00pm/2.00pm-10.00pm/10.00pm-06.00am.

Duties will include but no limited to:

  • Operating a press machine to produce metal products
  • Operating a saw in order to cut metal to the correct size
  • Use of in house computer system
  • Follow all Health, Safety, Security Environmental, Energy (HSSEE) process and regulations
  • Report any HSSEE issues to Team Leader
  • Meet production targets and report deviations to the targets when required
  • Report activity as per position requirement
  • Maintain Production standards including Housekeeping level
  • Understand basic quality requirements
  • Ensure use of SOP's, OPL's and production instructions
  • Understand basic product knowledge
  • Be involved in Continuous Improvement activities as they arise
  • Promote continuous improvement in the daily activities and process optimization
  • Be aware of opportunities to reduce costs / Improve quality and escalate to line manager
  • Participate in overtime as required
  • Comply with all time and attendance targets
  • Maintain high standards of individual housekeeping and 5s
Desirable Experience

  • Previous experience of working on a metal press is advantageous
  • Ability to read technical drawings is desirable
  • CNC experience is preferable but not essential
