Senior Business Support Officer:


Cheshire West and Chester Children's Services are looking to recruit a Senior Business Support Officer to provide professional administrative and financial support to managers and operational staff within the Specialist Teaching Services across Early Years, Autism and Sensory Impaired Teams.


This post is advertised on a temporary basis for 6 months as we are about to review how we deliver our services.

There may be further opportunities for permanent or longer-term roles once this is completed.

You must be knowledgeable and skilled in finance, administration and have experience of dealing with complex data, maintaining databases and management software.

The role will also include the daily supervision of a small business support team.


We are looking for someone who can work in partnership with our early year's settings, schools and both internal and external agencies.

You will need to be able to work under pressure and demonstrate that you are a highly motivated individual who works to a high standard as part of a team and on your own initiative.

You need to be flexible and demonstrate that you have experience in working in a fast pace, busy environment.


The contractual work location for this role is listed above however you may be required to work from a range of work locations or sites within the Borough and may also be required to work from home, depending on the needs of the service.
