Ensignbus is a successful family run business with over 40 years' experience in Bus Sales, Service Work, Sightseeing Tours, Bus Conversions and Restorations.

We are currently looking for a permanent Storeman/Woman Assistant to join our growing team in Purfleet. This position is 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Working in a fast paced workshop, the successful applicant will be required to order general supplies and engineering parts to ensure the smooth running of the Company and the Companies fleet.

Reporting directly to the Storeman, responsibilities of the Storeman Assistant will include:

Hard working, use of initiative and attention to detail.
Basic IT experiance (Office 365 /Work/Excell)
Ordering stock from various suppliers
Negotiation of product pricing and expidited delivery times
Knowledge and understanding of Mechanical parts
Supervision of goods in & goods out
Querying incorrect orders, where necessary
Management of the electronic stock system (Full training will be provided)
Carrying out regular stock control
Following the Companies Purchase Order Process
You will take responsibility for the stores department when stores manager is absent.
Forklift license is desirable but not essential as training will be given.

Previous Storeman experience will be an advantage.
