Human Resources, Apprentice


This is an integral role that will work within the Human Resources (HR) team to drive and deliver on people activities to support the business.


You will have exposure to a wide range of learning opportunities, projects and initiatives across the business to support you in developing foundational human resource skills.

You will also have the opportunity to work with stakeholders at all levels across a range of different businesses and departments.

The Human Resources Apprentice will provide administrative and coordinative support to the Human Resources Business Partners (HRBPs) which is vital to ensure an efficient and streamlined service is provided to the business,

The Role

  • To support various administrative tasks for the HRBPs allowing them to focus directly on employee and manager people initiatives
  • To be a liaison between the HRBPs and the HR Ops team to ensure operational excellence and proper governance practices are adhered to.
  • Participate in various HR project workstreams
  • To work with internal communications to manage and create communications related to HRBPs activities as required
  • To promote programmes and policies related to HR
  • Organise all local workshops as required for the HRBP Team including venue sourcing, liaising with the venue regarding rooms, layout and refreshments, ensuring materials are produced and available on the day
  • Act as the point of contact for HRBP vendors as required
  • Manage ER and other trackers utilised by the HRBPs
  • Provide administration support on People metrics as required by the HRBPs
What we are looking for

  • Broad understanding of the basics of HR, particularly the employee lifecycle, policies, procedures, and training & development
  • Previous administrative experience would be an advantage
  • Proven analytical and data skills, including ability to use MS Excel ideally to an intermediate/advanced level
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to engage at all levels
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workload and consistently meet deadlines
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office Suite (See below for level)
  • Excellent attention to detail
