The Role:


Our site in Harrogate is currently recruiting for an Entry-Level Logistics Coordinator/Sample Materials Coordinator to join the Biopharmaceutical Chemistry Manufacturing Controls (BiopharmCMC) division.


This is initially a 12 month fixed-term contract position, however may lead to a full-time permanent role or other opportunities within Labcorp.

The Sample Materials Coordinator role will be based both in the lab and in the office.


Job responsibilities include:


  • Receiving materials and samples for the department and updating the LIMS (Laboratory Management Information System).
  • Maintaining lab stock levels.
  • Booking scientific samples into studies for analytical testing for the CMC department.
  • Stock counting and placing orders to replenish stock.
  • Aliquoting and preparing samples for testing.
  • Supporting sample and materials management and the wider CMC scientific team to ensure samples are tested in the allocated time frame.
  • Administrative duties.
