Network Security Engineer

6 month contract

£500 - £550 per day

One of our clients, an international banking group is looking for a Network Security Engineer to join their team in central London.

You'll be responsible for implementing, configuring, maintaining and supporting performance of the UK Network Security Infrastructure and Globally functions.

You'll be part of the team responsible for the technical support of the Infrastructure Security Technologies that sit above the network layer in Internet Hosting, Browsing an Trading environments for over 500+ Appliances globally.

Some of the Infrastructure Security projects currently within this team include Proxies (McAfee/Trellix Web Gateway, Blue Coat/Broadcom Proxy SG), Firewall Systems (Fortinet, Checkpoint), Load Balancers, SSL Accelerators, DNS/DHCP and Remote Access Platforms(CISCO ASA/ISE).


We're looking for someone with experience with:

  • McAfee/Trellix Web Gateway
  • Bluecoat/Broadcom Proxy SG


  • Fortinet/Checkpoint Firewall

  • F5 Big IP
  • Load Traffic Manager
  • Infoblox

Support activities are 50% onsite and 50% remote between 07:00-18:00 Monday Friday with an on-call rota outside of these hours for critical service issues and support.

This is a great opportunity to join the business at a very exciting time for an initial 6 month contract OUTSIDE IR35.
