Nectar HR is a vibrant HR consultancy based in Wolverhampton, looking for an experienced, full time Senior HR Consultant to join the team and receive direct mentoring from the Founding Director. This is a commercially focused role where you will be the first point of contact for higher level support to the team, as well as providing compliant HR advice to a range of clients. Hours can be flexible from 30 hours a week up to full time. We stand out from the crowd because we believe in our clients, their businesses and their people. The Senior HR Consultant will be an experienced, commercially focused, and pragmatic professional whose primary responsibilities will include:

  • Working along side the Nectar HR Director in supporting clients and the in house HR team to provide a first class HR Consultancy service
  • Engaging directly with clients on consultancy projects, including training delivery.
  • Supporting the growth of a swiftly scaling HR consultancy.
  • Supporting the internal team with direction, questions and advice on HR and legal employment matters

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

The key responsibilities of this role include are to:

  • Work closely alongside the Director in all aspects of supporting clients, from front facing client work to supporting the in house HR Team
  • First point of contact for HR Consultants when they require higher level support or advice/guidance
  • Provide strategic, operational and legally compliant HR and employment advice to both in house HR Consultants and clients externally
  • Support, guide and lead on HR projects such as TUPE, Redundancy, Restructure, Consultation and Change Projects
  • Support clients with clear and legally compliant advice on all ER issues, from start through to finish
  • Support on all aspects on the employee life cycle for any allocated client
  • Provide pragmatic and legally complaint HR and employment law advice and support.
  • Update and maintain accurate records on Teams
  • Deliver consultancy projects and training solutions onsite with clients and prospects throughout the UK
  • Make regular contact with clients from a client care perspective
  • Undertake contract, policy and process, and handbook review activities for clients
  • Contribute to sales and marketing activity by drafting blogs and case studies
  • Monitor developments in employment law and HR best practice
  • Review and update core policy and contractual documentation for the client base on an annual and adhoc basis as and when there are changes to established HR practice and employment law

Conditions
All offers of employment are conditional on you demonstrating your eligibility to work in the UK.

Offers are also conditional on receipt of a minimum of two satisfactory references, covering at least the last three years on employment, with any gaps in employment history being explained satisfactorily.

Salary:
£42,000.00 per year
