The Role:


Our award-winning Mission Systems Team designs, develops and delivers some of the world's most advanced aviation mission systems from within our office in Lincoln.

As a result of our continued success and business expansion, we are delighted to offer an opportunity for a Data Administrator/Operator to take on a business-critical role in the production of our flagship product, the GECO Mission Support System.


To support ongoing use of GECO Systems in the UK and overseas you will be responsible for sourcing and verifying country specific NOTAM (Notice to Air Missions) data.

On an enduring basis you will undertake analysis, augmentation, filtering, and distribution of NOTAMs data to Inzpire's customers and will work with other members of the Mission Systems Team to ensure that all data has been appropriately validated prior to distribution.

You will also seek to secure process improvements aimed at increasing the efficiency of the data production process whilst maintaining the accuracy/validity of the data output.


The role will also provide the opportunity to become involved in other aspects associated with the provision of system data to GECO System users and the more general technical support they receive.


The Person:


We are looking for a proactive, flexible, and confident individual with excellent attention to detail and the discipline and commitment to produce consistent high-quality data outputs for our GECO customers.

As part of a small highly skilled team, the responsibilities of the role will be necessarily focused on data administration.

You will have a track record of activities involving data processing, analysis and verification evidencing an ability to focus and maintain output quality while working to defined timescales.


You will need to exhibit pragmatism in the use of Mission Systems processes as well as the ability to manage a number of concurrent tasks and deadlines.

You will also be confident when liaising with both the team and external customers.

This role will be primarily focused on the processing of data for use by GECO System Customers.

To be successful you will need:

  • Knowledge of flight operations or Air traffic Service environments.
  • An ability to understand, analyse and interpret aeronautical information and data.
  • Proven computer skills, particularly with respect to the manipulation of data.
  • To evidence an attention to detail in all aspects of work.
  • Effective time management and an understanding of task prioritization.
  • Good communication skills to ensure issues are reported clearly via the correct channels.
  • To be able to work in a team.

Qualifications

  • Qualifications within a numerical discipline are considered useful but not essential.

Skills and Experience

  • Experience of working in a flight operations or Air traffic Service environments would be considered advantageous.

Lincoln (Occasional home-working possible)


Due to the nature of elements of the role, the successful applicant must be a UK National and may be required to successfully complete National Security Vetting which may require criminal record, security service and credit reference checks; qualification will also normally require a minimum UK residency of at least 5 years.
