Job Title:
Self-Employed Solar Installer


Job Description:
£200-£250 per day depending on experience (Bonuses Available)

We are seeking a skilled and self-motivated individual to join our team as a Self-Employed Solar Installer.

As a solar installer, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining solar energy systems for residential and commercial clients.

In this role, you will primarily focus on fitting inverters and batteries, ensuring the proper functioning and efficient operation of solar power systems.


Responsibilities:


Solar System Installation:

Perform on-site installations of solar energy systems, including the fitting of inverters and batteries, in accordance with industry best practices, safety guidelines, and local building codes.


System Integration:
Integrate inverters and batteries into solar power systems, ensuring seamless operation and compatibility with existing equipment.

Electrical Wiring:

Connect inverters and batteries to the solar panels, electrical grid, and other components, following established wiring diagrams and safety procedures.


Quality Assurance:

Conduct thorough inspections and tests to ensure the proper functioning of inverters and batteries, troubleshoot any issues, and make necessary adjustments or repairs.


Documentation:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of installations, including photographs, system specifications, and customer records.

Customer Interaction:

Communicate with clients to address their questions, provide system demonstrations, and offer guidance on the proper usage and maintenance of inverters and batteries.


Safety Compliance:

Adhere to safety protocols and regulations during all installation and maintenance activities, promoting a safe work environment for yourself and others.


Equipment Maintenance:
Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of inverters and batteries, ensuring optimal performance and longevity.

Continuous Learning:

Stay updated with the latest industry trends, solar technologies, and installation techniques through self-study, training programs, and professional development opportunities.


Qualifications:

Technical Skills:
Solid understanding of solar energy systems, particularly inverter and battery installations. Proficiency in electrical wiring, circuitry, and system integration is required.

Experience:
Previous experience in solar installation or electrical work is highly preferred. Familiarity with different inverter and battery brands/models is advantageous.

Knowledge:
Good understanding of local electrical codes and regulations related to solar installations. Knowledge of safety procedures and best practices in the renewable energy industry.

Physical Fitness:

Ability to work in various weather conditions and perform physical tasks, including climbing ladders, lifting heavy equipment, and working at heights.


Problem-Solving:
Strong troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve issues related to inverters, batteries, and overall system performance.

Communication Skills:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with clients professionally and provide clear instructions on system usage and maintenance.


Self-Motivation:
Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet project deadlines while maintaining high-quality workmanship.

Business Acumen:
Entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to operate as a self-employed professional, including managing expenses, customer relations, and scheduling.

Use of own Van at the start ( we can provide after 3 months if required)

£20,895.20-£59,285.26 per year
