The One Group are pleased to be working with an Automotive Testing company who boast a range of state-of-the-art testing facilities who are seeking a Senior Batter Facilities Engineer to join there team on a permanent basis.

The Battery department within the company is responsible for providing battery, module and cell testing activities which include performance, life cycle, durability, abuse and strip & rate testing to name a few.

The role will be to lead facilities support for the Battery testing capabilities including preventative maintenance, calibration, and breakdown support.

The day-to-day duties include:

Lead technical support for the Battery Engineering team prepping battery facilities so they can perform tests for customer requirements
Corrective and preventative maintenance on battery testing HV and automation systems
Ensure instrumentation is calibrated and can generate reliable data
Analyse results including statements of conformity of opinions and interpretations
Investigate and prepare reports to support investigation on HV and Automation systems

What we are looking for:

Degree in technical or electrical discipline
Skilled in Automotive test automation systems such as Horiba STARS, AVL PUMA and Kratzer PAtools
Able to use HV diagnostics tools such as multimetres and oscilloscopes
Able to repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
Automotive background within a battery testing environment
