Learning Support Assistant

Required at a Cardiff Primary School
A vacancy has arisen for an enthusiastic and committed teaching assistant to work at a primary school in Cardiff.

The role requires:

general support to the class teacher, carrying out activities as directed and assisting 1:1 with basic numeracy and literacy skills.


  • Promote the inclusion and acceptance of all pupils.
  • Have English/Welsh and Maths GCSE grade C or above
  • Establish good relationships with pupils, being aware of and responding appropriately to individual needs.
  • Supervise and support pupils ensuring their safety and access to learning.
  • Ensure all pupils have equal access to opportunities to learn and develop.
  • Contribute to the overall ethos and aims of the school.

Full-time, Temporary contract


Salary:
£75.00-£85.00 per day


Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Cardiff, Cardiff: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Education:


  • GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

Experience:


  • Childcare: 1 year (preferred)
