A great opportunity has arisen within our Central Support Team for a good communicator who is enthusiastic, self-motivated, and conscientious.

Experience in working with computer systems and enjoys the challenges of improving IT systems is an essential part of this role.


What you will be doing:

  • Manage a small customer focussed/professional team and undertake activities predominantly working with an Operational workforce within Waste Services, Area Care, Highways Building Cleaning and Catering._
  • Coordinating the Work Force Development / LMS Systems throughout Environment and Community Services._
  • Experience in working with computer systems and enjoys the challenges of improving IT systems is an essential part of this role.

  • Lead the team to develop and implement training opportunities to our staff and devise best practice with our suppliers and colleagues._
  • Collaborate with all levels of the organisation and external stakeholders._
  • Support with budget management across the service._
  • Measuring success and providing operational performance information._

What you must have:

  • Excellent coordination and organisational skills and ability to work in a highvolume environment._
  • A Passion to achieve positive results for the people you engage with._
  • A collaborative approach to working with excellent interpersonal and listening skills._
  • Creativity to help develop and maintain the service provided and problem solve issues that arise daily. Supporting IT Systems_
  • Flexibility in your approach to meet customer engagement and the needs of the service._
  • Integrity in your approach, being respectful and doing things in the right way and maintain confidentiality._


Whilst in post there will be development opportunities alongside flexible working with the option of a blended working environment (home and office where appropriate) new staff joining Middlesbrough can expect a warm welcome from the teams.
