Join us as a Corporate & Commercial Assistant Director

What you'll do:


As a Corporate & Commercial Assistant Director, you'll be working with our customers to understand their business strategy and operations to develop effective restructuring strategies.

With a customer centric approach, you'll be building relationships and trust, aware that at times you'll need to deliver difficult messages which must be done with empathy and sensitivity.


You'll also be:

  • Assisting senior colleagues on complex cases to broaden your skill set and widen your knowledge and restructuring expertise
  • Helping senior colleagues to deliver key messages in a transparent and sensitive manner
  • Supporting customer decisions which manage the bank's capital and risk weighted assets
  • Sharing your restructuring knowledge with front line colleagues
  • Improving customer advocacy and retention by supporting long term strategies

The skills you'll need:

We're looking for someone with strong communication skills and a high degree of empathy for customers and colleagues.

You'll also need knowledge of restructuring and corporate turnaround theories, models and practices, and an ability to collaborate and communicate with stakeholders at a variety of levels.


You'll also bring:

  • The ability to identity key issues and provide straightforward solutions
  • Strong financial analysis and planning skills
  • An understanding of the wider economic, regulatory and commercial environment
