Wedding and Events Sales Supervisor

Salary:
£13,918.80-£15,841.20(£23,198 - £26,402 Per Annum FTE)

Contract: 22.2 hours per week worked over 3 days

York Museums Trust is an independent charitable organisation created to manage York Art Gallery, York Castle Museum, Yorkshire Museum & Gardens, and York St Mary's.

To support the activities of the organisation, the Trust runs a successful venue hire business, using its many heritage buildings and hosting over 100 events per year.

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for Wedding and Events Sales Supervisor to work within the Wedding and Events team.

You will take the lead in driving sales of our fabulous venues in line with our strategy, dealing with sales enquiries and ensuring high quality customer service and excellent sales conversions.

The role also involves being active in the operations of the weddings and events.

You'll build relationships with new and existing customers and our suppliers as well as our site teams and represent us at external events and exhibitions.

You'll have substantial experience of working in the wedding and events industry along with proven sales and marketing experience.

Your customer service and organisational skills will be exemplary and you'll have experience of supervising people and dealing with complaints and difficult situations.

You'll also be willing to work unsociable hours and weekend where required.
