Description
We are a leading Civil Engineering and Building Company, with a turnover in excess of £70 million. We have office locations in Tyrone (NI), in the East Midlands (England) and Cork Munster.


We deliver high quality large scale construction projects across the UK and Ireland, from Civils and Water Infrastructure through to Commercial and Residential projects.

This important role is key to supporting our SHEQ teams in the three offices.


The Role

SHEQ Dept

  • Maintaining SHEQ information on SharePoint.
  • Company Audits assist with the yearly external audits e.g. ISO 45001, 14001, 9001 and 2700
  • Company wide SHEQ Meetings coordination and preparation of. invites, slides and minutes.

SITE Support

  • Hazard observation records summaries prepared to show trends.
  • Information from site audits categorise and record in excel table weekly.
  • Set up site files and documentation archive of same once sites finish.
  • Distribute and replenish PPE stock.

Supply Chain management

  • Check and process Sub-Contractor prequalification questionnaires.
  • Review subcontractor performance issue requests and provide analysis at SHEQ meeting.

General

  • Integrated Management System (IMS) adhere to the requirements, procedures and policies.
  • To undertake any other duties as allocated.

The Person

  • Must be able to use their own initiative, taking accountability and responsibility for their work from start to finish.
  • Deadline driven, and reliable assisting the team to hit key targets.
  • Prompt, clear and consistent communicator.

The Experience

  • Minimum of 4 years experience in a similar administrative role
  • Significant IT literacy & experience in Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Word.
  • Experience and competency in SharePoint, MS Forms & Teams would be an advantage however training can be provided.
  • Experience within the Construction or Engineering sectors would be an advantage.
  • A full driving licence and access to own car would be essential.
