Part-time Finance Assistant - Leeds, United Kingdom - Fortem People
Description
Our expanding client is looking to recruit a Finance Assistant to join the team on a part-time basis. Induction/training will be based in their Leeds office and then you will work from home after this.In this role, you will ultimately help the business manage and allocate resources effectively. You will participate in payroll processes and report on financial projections (e.g. liquidity and cash flow).
Main Responsibilities:
- Managing accounts receivable and payable
- Create invoices and chase invoices
- Payroll liaise with the accountant
- Reconciliation / VAT/ Tax related matters
- Expenses
- Prepare budgets
- Manage existing internal contracts renewals i.e. Salesforce, Company insurance, Survey Monkey
- Maintain reports on financial metrics, including investments, return on assets and growth rate
- Update the CRM system
- Salesforce with the updates for the advisors logs and expenses
- Work closely with your Line Manager provide her with the updates
- Provide the CEO with regular updates
Key Requirements:
- Proven work experience as a Finance Administrator, Finance Assistant or similar role.
- Handson experience with accounting software, preferably with a good working knowledge of Xero or similar
- Advanced knowledge of MS Excel (creating spreadsheets and charts and using financial Excel functions)
- Good understanding of bookkeeping procedures
- Timemanagement and organization skills
- Confidentiality
- BSc degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics or Accounting qualification
Hours: 9am-5pm, two days per week on Wednesday & Thursday
Salary:
£25,000 pro rata
