Clemence Rogers are currently recruiting for a fantastic HGV Technician supervisor opportunity, working in a growing, fast paced dealership in Reading.

Key Responsibility:

Supervision and Control of servicing, maintenance, and defect repairs, ensuring all service/MOT/defect documentation is completed correctly, signed off and uploaded correctly.
Ensure the defect reporting procedure has been fully completed before authorizing repairs.
Assess and review your team, highlight skills shortages and or training needs to the Garage Manager.
Carry out spot checks and engineering hygiene checks Diagnose and rectify all types of faults.
Organise and allocate work so only fitters trained in the necessary operations are allocated to work on suitable equipment they are trained to use.
Ensure all vehicles worked upon are handled carefully and that all precautions are taken whilst on the premises.
Liaise with the parts department to attain correct parts.
Ensure health & safety regulations and safe working practices are adhered to.
Ensure appropriate clocking's are made, all job cards and service sheets are completed in a timely manner.
Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and tidiness.
Ability to actively seek solutions to problems.
Ability to work as part of a team.
Good verbal communication skills
Excellent customer care skills
Flexibility to undertake a wide range of tasks.
Awareness and understanding of health and safety requirements.
