Then step into this exciting role as a Strategy and Planning Officer at the University of Sheffield

We are looking for a new member of the team to play a key role in helping the University to realise its vision to deliver life-enhancing research, innovation, and education.

In this varied role, that is at the heart of institutional planning and decision making, you will be part of the Planning & Performance team within the Department of Strategic Planning & Change (SPC) contributing to institution-wide scenario planning and business partnering for departments and faculties.

As a team we:

Work closely with senior leaders, becoming their trusted partner in crafting midterm strategies, identifying key opportunities and risks, and measuring progress against ambitious goals.
Develop deep relationships with colleagues, understanding their challenges, priorities, and aspirations.
Transform complex information into clear, actionable insights that inform crucial business decisions.
Think hard about our context and what might happen in the future in order to help university leaders navigate emerging opportunities and overcome obstacles.
