Civil Design Engineer

Location:
Derby


Salary:
£30,000 - £40,000 (depending on experience)


Opportunity
Our client is looking to expand their team working from their busy office based in Derby.


It's a great opportunity for an experienced Civil Engineer to join a team that are involved in projects in wide variety of sectors including new build and modifications.

They specialise in producing steel framed structures, foundations, and infrastructure.


About you
The Civil Design Engineer our client is looking for will have experience in designing and managing projects.

They will have an extensive knowledge of RC and Steel Design and excellent analytical skills.

Knowledge of software such as TEDDS will give you a great advantage.


The role

  • Carry out conceptual designs, detail designs
  • Assessing existing structure condition
  • Meeting the clients' requirements and specifications when producing designs
  • Project management and delivery of projects
  • Producing detailed and accurate calculations
  • Liaising with clients, contractors and suppliers
