The starting salary for this full-time, permanent role is £27,897 per annum based on a 36-hour working week.


HOPE is an innovative service for young people in Surrey aged between 11-18 who have mental health difficulties, emotional and behavioural needs.

We offer a day programme of therapy, education and community work to young people who are referred to the service through Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service and Children's Services.


We are now looking for a motivated and organised
Administration Co-ordinator to join our multi-agency team and help provide comprehensive, high-quality administrative support.

About the role


In this role you will provide administrative support to approximately 20 members of staff from Social Workers and teachers to art therapists and dieticians This will include data management, minute taking and the use of procurement and financial systems.

A key aspect of this role will be organising the reception and managing the transport arrangements for young people coming into the day programme.

You will be part of a multi-professional team who are dedicated to working with young people with complex needs.


You will also be working with young people from diverse back grounds who have been referred to HOPE to support with their mental health, social, behavioural and emotional needs.

Working with young people who may display challenging behaviour requires a unique skill set. Your confidence in dealing with conflict appropriately, and knowing when to seek support, will be essential.


The nature of the work we do means that prioritising tasks can be challenging given the constantly changing needs of our young people and the administration required to support their progress at HOPE and plan for their future needs.

As such, a flexible approach to the role will be required


HOPE is not your average office environment and can at times feel pressurised, but you will always have the support of your team behind you and excellent management in place to support you when you need it.
