We have a big year planned for growth and we have several new opportunities for PIA Surveyors working within our Operational Solutions team.


The Role


As a PIA Surveyor you will have good knowledge and understanding of Fibre Builds and Architecture as you will be performing detailed PIA verification surveys.

This is a busy role that does require travel and someone who is committed to delivering an outstanding service to our clients.


Other role responsibilities include:

  • Validate chambers, poles, duct routes on site and identify issues and required work arounds if necessary.
  • Utilise tablet with client GIS software for the survey and any required alterations.
  • Existing chamber assessments (location, type, conditions).
  • Existing pole assessments (location, type, conditions).
  • Existing duct assessments (available space, conditions)
  • Knowledge of or experience working in the Openreach network.
  • Valid SA001, SA002, NRSWA Unit 2, Sign and Guarding.
  • S5 and S6 Accreditation would be desirable but not essential.
  • Ability to use a smartphone, a tablet or a laptop with a Geographical Information System (GIS).
  • Work outdoors in chambers and challenging field environments. For example, in bad weather conditions.
  • Attention to detail.
  • High levels of quality standards.
  • Proficient use and knowledge of software such as MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PDF writer.
