We have a great opportunity available for a Care Quality Administrator to join our Adult Social Care Team at Wokingham Borough Council.


As the Care Quality Administrator, you will provide high quality administrative support to the Care Quality and Care Governance team ensuring its smooth running and delivery of its statutory obligations.


Adult Social Care includes a Care Quality Team - the Care Quality team support and promote high quality care services in the Borough.

We believe that high care quality standards are established when good care practice is supported and promoted.


As a team we undertake audit and report work, organise provider events, administrate the care governance process and liaise closely with other ASC teams and external partners.

Main job responsibilities

  • Support professional meetings, which can include complex discussions, including any panels, through coordination, preparing the agenda, papers and taking formal minutes / note taking as appropriate. Circulating minutes and information and manage actions arising. To alert of any actions prior to the next meeting.
  • Manage and maintain the intelligence log in relation to all care providers in the Borough.
  • Support to maintain the new HUB
  • SharePoint for providers.
  • Maintain accurate uptodate records in accordance with the Data Protection Act, ensuring data is stored accurately to enable efficient retrieval. Including support of confidential records.
  • Assist the arrangements of informal and formal events, assist with specific projects within scope of the role.

Skills/ qualifications/ experience required.

  • Proficient MS Office and ability to learn new systems as required. Utilise information and communications technology to access and communicate information.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Previous experience of taking minutes of multiorganisational meetings.
  • Work effectively under pressure in a busy, diverse and demanding work environment.
  • Proven ability in capturing, storing and accurately retrieving information to meet service needs.
