Description

We are delighted to be recruiting a Mental Health Professional within the Central Norfolk Youth Service for young people aged between 14-25 years old.

We are looking for a dedicated mental health professional with either Nursing, Social Work or Occupational Therapy qualification.

We would love to hear from you if you have experience in working with people who suffer with mental health difficulties and you have at least 12 months post qualification experience in a mental health setting.

Do you have a drive to put the needs of young people first in all you do?

Your primary driver will be a desire to help reduce the impact of problems on young people's lives and on their future well-being in adulthood.

Our absolute commitment is to improve the lives of children and young people by providing a mental health service we can be proud of.

A service that shows compassion, kindness and hope at a time when families need it most.

A role which will challenge your thinking, expand your knowledge and connect with your heart.

We are happy to accommodate a variety of working patterns including part time applicants.

Whilst experience working with children and young people would make you perfectly suited to this role, we are really open to welcoming people from clinical backgrounds who have experience in other areas of mental health.

We understand that you will be able to bring with you a wealth of skills and experience to the team and would welcome ways of thinking.

We are looking for people to join us with enthusiasm, optimism, fresh ideas and energy.

We will expect you to want to work clinically but be equally as comfortable being part of strategic decision making.

The team are strong and credible, we have a friendly team atmosphere where ideas are welcomed and explored. We are creating the conditions to embrace change whilst always ensuring the basics.

We work hard to ensure that from the very moment people access our services to the moment they leave their care will be outstanding.

We want you in our team if you share our values and core beliefs.

If you want to work in an environment of mutual respect, transparency, integrity and collaborative working we are the team for you.

We are an improving Trust, with ambitious aspirations and pushing ahead with exciting transformation work.

We have strong, established nursing networks coupled with an exceptional leadership team who will ensure you are truly cared for and cared about.

I wanted to also share my experience of joining the team so that you will consider a move to joining the team either from within Norfolk or if you are looking to relocate to the county.

It is always difficult to move to a new team, but I have received a really warm welcome and have been really impressed that I have been given the opportunity to make a difference, to put my own spin on things and the role has been moulded to suit me and my skill set.

We are looking for people to join us with enthusiasm, optimism, fresh ideas and energy.

We will expect you to want to work clinically but be equally as comfortable being part of strategic decision making.

Please refer to the job description attached for more information.

This post attracts a recruitment premium of £3,000 (pro-rata for part time roles).

This is a one off payment with half paid on appointment and half paid after the completion of a satisfactory probation period (6 months).

The premium is taxable.

Please note that should you leave employment, or choose to move to an alternative post within the Trust that does not attract this recruitment premium, you will be required to reimburse all or some it, as follows: 100% of the value of the premium in the first 12 months; 50% of the value of the premium in the period 12 months to 2 years following appointment.
