Team Leader - Stalybridge (Tameside)

Salary:

We are looking for a committed, motivated, and consistent individual who has a passion and ambition to provide the very best support for young people aged 16 to 19, who are transitioning from residential or foster care, present as homeless or are unaccompanied asylum-seeking children.


You will support the Service Manager in the delivery of high-quality service provision incorporating safeguarding of all young people, promoting a therapeutic and trauma informed ethos, and delivery of the organisation's life skills programme.


You will support the workforce in managing the routines of the home, promoting their responsibilties as a keyworker, leading as a role model, and developing good practice.


You will work on a multiagency basis and in partnership with internal and external professionals to ensure young people are given the correct wrap around support and are treated equally, as individuals, and without discrimination.


You will be confident on Microsoft Word, have excellent written and verbal communication skills, in return you will be supported, developed, listened to, valued, and recognised for the determination and commitment needed to fulfil this challenging/rewarding role.

You will be responsible to the Service Manager and undertake duties including but not limited to:

  • Ensure that you and the workforce work in accordance with the organisations Statement of Purpose, including Vision, Mission, and Values.
  • Ensure that you and the workforce work in accordance with the home's routines.
  • Undertake all administrative tasks necessary for the effective running of the home.
  • Lead and support the workforce to deliver person centred support working towards the best outcomes for each young person.
  • Work cohesively and in partnership with internal and external professionals working towards the best outcomes for young people.
  • Ensure that you and the workforce implement and adhere to the organisations Safeguarding policies and procedures, and Local Authority Safeguarding procedures.
  • Ensure that you and the workforce implement and adhere to the organisations Health and Safety, including Fire Safety policies and procedures.
  • Support the Manager in the performance and development of the workforce in line with the organisations Performance Management Policy.
  • Complete appropriate training within the required timeframes, ensuring that an uptodate training record is maintained.
  • Participate effectively in the oncall duty system inline with the organisations Oncall Policy.
  • Undertaking any other adhoc tasks that are deemed necessary.

Salary:
£25,000.00-£26,680.00 per year


Schedule:

  • 10 hour shift
  • 8 hour shift
  • Holidays
  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:
