Health & Safety / Facilities Controller | Lincoln

Salary:
£23,000 - £32,000 pa depending on experience

Contract: 9 Month contract - Starting February 2023


We are currently recruiting for a Health & Safety Officer to join a SME manufacturing / engineering company, for a 9 month contract, starting in February 2023.

This will be a broad Health & Safety Officer role it will also encompass facilities management, quality control and audits.


  • Responsible for the Health & Safety strategy across the company's sites and provide proactive Health & Safety, Quality and Facilities management advice & support
  • Coordinating and managing the maintenance of buildings to ensure they meet Health & Safety legislation
  • All site tours and new starter inductions
  • Management of sites IT/Systems
  • Implement company and legislative HS&Q requirements
  • Conduct HSEQ internal safety audits and improvement corrective measures as required
  • Complete various risk assessments, including DSE, COSHH, Manual Handling, Environmental
  • Deliver HSEQ related tool box talks
  • Ensure all documentation is up to date

Health & Safety / Facilities Officer experience and qualifications required:

  • Ideally Nebosh Diploma or equivalent or Nebosh General Certificate
  • with extensive experience in Engineering or Manufacturing environment
  • Sufficient relevant experience in HS&Q and facilities management
  • A passion to drive a positive Health & Safety culture
  • Strong IT / Systems knowledge is required for this role

Job Types:
Full-time, Temporary contract

Contract length: 9 months


Salary:
£23,217.70-£32,000.00 per year
