About the role of Delivery Driver/ Warehouse Operative

The Delivery Driver/ Warehouse Operative is at the heart of everything we do, and the role will vary on a day-to-day basis.

The Delivery Driver/Warehouse Operative is a key role that will vary, supporting the Hire the Hire Stock Manager to efficiently run the operational needs of warehouse stock & deliveries.

• Proactively liaising with & developing working relationships with the technical department.
• Assume responsibility for the accuracy of data entered into our system.
• Take responsibility for the preparation of hire stock, checking stock in and general maintenance of specific equipment.
• Take responsibility for the general upkeep and organisation of the warehouse.
• Safe loading and unloading of stock.
• Completing paperwork upon deliveries, swaps etc.
• Comply with UK driving laws.
• Comply with customers site/depot safety rules.
• Daily Vehicle inspection
• Actively promote Health and Safety in the workplace, setting a good example to other employees and ensuring awareness of and compliance with general Health and Safety responsibilities as set out in the Health and Safety Management System.
• Support Hire to achieve delivery and customer service on all works delivered.

• Eligible to work in the UK
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Previous Driving Experience
• Previous experience within a similar role would be beneficial.
• Ability to learn new software.
• Forklift licence
• Proficient in the use of a PC, the Microsoft Office suite of software and ability to work with other business systems.
• Ability to work in collaboration with customers to understand their needs and perceptions of our service and products
