Job description

FIXED TERM UNTIL JANUARY 2024

  • The Faculty of Education and the Arts is looking for an administrator to be a key member of a busy and vibrant team. Working closely with academics to deliver the vision of the Institute and Faculty, the Programme Administrator for the Initial Teacher Education Programme will work to ensure our students have the best possible education and experience.
  • The ITE Programme Administrator will work within the team primarily responsible for servicing the work of the Postgraduate Teacher Training suite of programmes, within the Institute of Education. ITE provision at Winchester is Outstanding (Ofsted, 2018), and the University has Silver Teaching Excellence Framework (TEF) status.
  • The part time hours will include a working pattern of alternating Fridays off, by arrangement with the line manager.
  • Experience of working in an office administrative role
  • Experience of dealing with students and/or the public
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, including good use of grammar
  • This salary will increase from August 202
