We're currently recruiting for a Transport Planner to be based at our site in Gotham, Nottinghamshire on our contract with SGIS / British Gypsum.

As part of this busy transport operation, covering 5 days, 10am to 6pm,

Pay, benefits and more:

We're looking to offer a salary of up to £25,000 per annum. In addition, we offer 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days.

What you'll do on a typical day:

Create the daily transport plan and allocating work against carrier as per the plan
Planning all stock and material movements between sites and overseeing backhaul shipments
Ensure all process and procedures are followed and that we operate a safe and efficient environment
Provide end of shift handover and tracking information to customers
Attend daily planning calls

What you need to succeed at XPO:

It's important you have exposure of working in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Experience within transport and a good understanding of compliance and driver hours would be beneficial
