In this early career role, you will be key in supporting and growing sales by positioning GE Power Conversion technology and identifying the best technical and commercial solutions.
You will work in close cooperation with a variety of teams including regional sales, account sales and commercial proposal staff and be a key member of the RMR Services Team reporting into the Services Sales Leader for Rotating Machines.
Essential Responsibilities
- Act as the single point of contact for incoming enquiries and understand the customers need from the request for quotation (RFQ).
- Using all available resources, prepare and present customer quotations to an accurate, high standard ensuring responses meet Service Level Agreement (SLA) in line with the customer's request for quotation (RFQ).
- Full management of tenders and support for rotating machine field service, parts, repairs, and replacements providing leads and customer information to the sales team as well as managing suppliers.
- Being a team player is essential to success in the role as you will be interfacing with multiple teams on a matrix basis.
- Selfmotivated and a desire to win is a key characteristic for this role.
- Maintain supplier and manufacturer relationships to ensure parts meet the relevant quality standards
- Maintain longterm customer relationships, providing advice on maintenance and inventory plans as well as the use of parts as required
- Provide and maintain accurate data and records to understand customer and market trend
Personal Qualities & Experience
- Educated to GCSE/A-Levels standard or equivalent in work experience.
- Understanding of Salesforce CRM (Customer Relationship Management)
- Microsoft Office proficient
- Experience in Sales within an engineering field would be desirable
