Benjamin Lee Artisan Bakery is looking to expand. We are currently recruiting for our new branch

Responsibilities:

Assist customers in selecting deli items and provide recommendations
Prepare and package deli products such as sandwiches, salads, and hot food items
Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are followed during food preparation and handling
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the deli area
Operate deli equipment such as slicers, ovens, and fryers
Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register
Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries and resolving any issues
Upsell additional deli items or promotions to customers

Qualifications:

Previous experience in a restaurant or food preparation setting is preferred
Knowledge of basic math skills for cash handling purposes
Familiarity with food safety regulations and procedures
Strong communication and customer service skills
Ability to work in a fastpaced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
Culinary training or certification is a plus
