Our client is a Local Authority in Greater Manchester and they are looking for a DM Planning Officer who is capable of managing a busy caseload of householder and minor planning apps.

These will mainly be small residential / householder apps and maybe some commercial developments / change of use cases.

As you settle into the team you will be able to take on more complex cases if this suits you.

As a DM Planning Officer you will work under supervision of more senior Planners so you will have the support you need and you will have the opportunity to develop your skill set.

We are looking for a Degree qualified Planner who ideally has 2 years of experience in a Local Authority and has a good knowledge of UK planning legislation.

This will initially run until the end of August 2024, but it could be extended beyond this, and they are offering up to £24/hr umbrella (this role is inside IR35).

The standard week is 35 hours and our client offers hybrid working.
