Description
The Breast Service Navigator post is a pivotal role within the Breast Unit.

The post holder will be expected to work directly with the clinical teams, patients, and their carers to assist in the in the coordinating of the surveillance and family history pathways.

The post holder will be require to appropriately navigate these specific services within Breast to maximise the delivery of information and streamline the pathway

  • Deputise for Clinic Coordinator covering all aspects of the role.
  • Tracking all surveillance mammograms
  • Tracking all Family History
  • Tracking all Remote Monitoring patients
  • Managing unappointed and unoutcomed patients ensuring correct pathways are maintained
  • Managing/ populating spreadsheet with reporting data and presenting when necessary
  • Supporting the management of 2WW choose and book appointments.
  • Liaise with the Advance Nurse Practitioners in managing the Tattoo Clinics
  • Liaise with the Advance Nurse Practitioners in managing the Genetic Referrals
  • Liaising with patients face to face, telephone and SMS
  • Dealing with patient complaints
  • Management of clinic changes
  • Providing support/training to the rest of the Admin team
  • Ensuring relevant correspondence is communicated with GP Surgeries
