WHAT TO EXPECT
Within the product team, Jaguar Electrical has a small, dedicated group ensuring the electrical architecture and feature set are seamlessly delivered into the Jaguar vehicles with our key Engineering Service Partners


This activity includes:

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities


Leading the order creation and sign off to support product delivery, whilst ensuring the commodity plan reflect the needs of Jaguar, resolving issues with JLR core peers.

Also ensuring that engineering release activities are on track to meet build timing for Electrical Engineering commodities.

Other key accountabilities and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Part release
  • Bill of Materials Validation, Alert generation.
  • Support Electrical Engineering team with planning and prioritisation of backlog for topics commodity planning.
  • Support programme gateways for Weight, Bill of Materials, Cost & Commodity plans.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

Knowledge, Skills and Experience
Having the ability to process and draw conclusions from many data sources and draw programme conclusions. Defining work outstanding, identify and engage with appropriate team members. Being able to make data driven decisions to prioritise work appropriately. Whilst having the ability to influence outcomes through building meaningful business relationships.

Other Knowledge, Skills and Experience include but are not limited to:

  • Ability to define process flows to assist team engagement.
  • Confident with calculating costs up to £25million.
  • Experience of programme purchasing delivery.
  • Experience of Worldwide Engineering Release System & Bill of Materials validation.
  • Experience of commodity plan management.
