With over 15 years of experience,
Medical Staffing is a leading medical service provider operating across the UK.

We are currently seeking a compassionate Mental Health Practitioner with primary care experience to work ad-hoc or long term shifts, in and around the Maidstone area.


Key requirements:


  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to establish rapport and build therapeutic relationships with patients
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to follow care plans and treatment protocols
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities in a team setting
  • Proficient in using computer systems and software for documentation purposes

The duties of the role may vary from time to time depending on current and evolving workloads and staffing levels:

  • Work with patients to support engagement with appropriate services and treatment, which may include onward referral to secondary mental health services, or sign-posting to other mental health services, voluntary services and support groups.
  • To liaise with and refer onto secondary mental health services, voluntary and public sectors agencies and community support groups.
  • Be responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care.
  • To work independently in the Surgery and the Community, providing assessment, treatment and referral of patients with specified mental health problems and unexplained symptoms.
  • Keep detailed records of all clinical activity in line with service protocols on the GP record systems.

Pay:
£17.37-£32.12 per hour
