Reed Education Reading are currently working in partnership with a special needs school in Sonning Common, specialising in support for children with profound and multiple learning difficulties, to recruit for a temporary Teaching Assistant, for a long term,full time vacancy.


About this school:


  • This local maintained school provides specialist education for children aged 216 years with severe learning difficulties (SLD), profound and multiple learning difficulties (PmLD) and complex needs, including those children with autism (ASC).

What we are looking for:


  • We are currently looking for short term temporary support staff for this wonderful school to support with daytoday staffing requirements where necessary.
  • Following registration, we can offer you work in this school without an interview and to start immediately, depending on the schools' requirements throughout the term.
  • Specially we are looking for Teaching Assistants with Primary and Secondary School experience who have worked special needs children previously.

Pay, benefits and hours:

- £ £80.00 per day, paid weekly.

  • The hours are 08:30 to 15:30, between Monday and Friday.
  • Pension scheme, holiday pay, sick pay and Reed temp benefits (including shopping vouchers).
