SALARY:£24, £28,986.00 per annum (depending on experience), plus 4.5% of basic salary on-call.***

INTERVIEW DATE:5 September 2023**We are looking for someone who shares our passion for making a difference to the way we look after people at the end of life.

You will be hands on, pragmatic and experienced in maintaining site facilities, ensuring we provide the best environment for our patients.

In this varied and hands on role, self-discipline, building fabric experience and an energetic approach are key to team working.

You will be responsible for maintaining and developing the facilities that allow our teams to provide valued care in East Surrey and Sussex.

These include ensuring the safe condition and operation of the hospice premises and grounds, equipment (including vehicles), systems and services.

This is achieved by undertaking an agreed programme of routine checks and day to day general maintenance.

This is a great time to join us ahead of our move towards a new, larger hospice at Pease Pottage in 2023.

Whilst it is not yet a requirement to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19, we encourage all applicants to be fully vaccinated as this may be a requirement of the role going forward.

We are located in Malthouse Road, Crawley, West Sussex, which is within commuting distance from Brighton and London and just a 5-minute walk from Crawley railway station.

In Autumn of 2023 we will be relocating to Pease Pottage where this role will then be based.
