Job Overview:
An exciting opportunity is available for a Senior Therapy Assistant to join the forward-thinking and dynamic integrated Therapy Team at the Royal Oldham Hospital, specifically across the surgical wards.
You will be part of a model of care that focuses on providing timely assessments, rehabilitation, and support for discharge planning of patients. This role offers exposure to a proactive environment where evidence-based practice is emphasized, collaboration is valued, and continuous professional development is promoted.

You should be adaptable to diverse patient populations and working conditions, with a flexible approach to care delivery including weekends and holidays.

Main Duties:
- Work within the Integrated Therapy team, specializing in Surgery.
- Provide interventions for an assigned patient caseload with support from a qualified therapist.
- Handle administrative tasks and stock control to support therapy services.

Requirements:
Essential Qualifications:
- A-Levels or Health and Science T-Level or equivalent qualification
- National Care Certificate or willingness to work towards a Health-related qualification

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:
Essential Criteria:
- Experience in healthcare, therapy, rehabilitation, or social care
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Empathy, motivation, and adaptability
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Time management and flexibility

Desirable Criteria:
- Knowledge of evidence-based practice and clinical skills
- Therapy skills competencies
- Car driver's license
