State Street Global Advisors (SSGA) is currently looking for an experienced Senior Cash Sales Representative to cover UK based non-Bank Financial Institutions.
This is an opportunity to work with SSGA and the global cash management product line.SSGA currently manages approximately $3.5 trillion in assets and is a leading cash management provider with over $400 billion in cash assets.
We are seeking a driven, self-motivated and team oriented individual with a sales track record to help build and grow relationships with direct financial institutions with a core focus on hedge funds.
This role will be based in London and will report to the Head of Sales for the EMEA Cash Business.
Key Responsibilities will include:
- Market SSGA' s offshore cash management products to institutional investors within the UK.
- Growing existing and source new client relationships with the target client base.
- Lead generation through extensive networking and calling prospects to identify new business opportunities
- Collaborate with wider State Street sales teams in region to effectively lead generate and deliver a 'One firm' Approach to clients.
- Contribute to the team on a regular basis to help foster an environment of teamwork and collaboration
- Ensure that the EMEA Cash businesses operate in compliance with internal and external regulations
- Report activities and sales opportunities in a timely manner to the CRM system
- Ability to manage budget to maximize time and resources
Qualifications Critical Success Factors:
- 10+ years direct sales experience. Experience selling institutional money market funds, custom cash separately managed accounts and other shortterm fixed income investments into Financial Institutions strongly preferred.
- A track record of selling to, or developing strong relationships in the Hedge fund space is critical, along with demonstrating the ability to develop new relationships in order to drive sales.
- Deep understanding of cash management investors as well as shortterm fixed income and cash/money markets.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent networking, cold calling and prospecting skills
- High energy, motivated, resilient individual with dedication to excellence
- Ability to own sales channel and work effectively with limited direct supervision
- Willingness and ability to travel domestically
Licenses / Education:
- BA/BS degree would be preferred
- Completion or progress towards a CFA is a plus
- FCA: Ensure CF30 and registration is complete or working towards
