R13 are pleased to be supporting a Norfolk business with huge growth plans over 2023 in their search for an
Online Merchandiser.This is a brand-new role in line with their development plans, as this position is paramount to their continued revenue growth.

The office is a modern and open working environment working with a committed and supportiveteam.


You will be responsible for uploading new products to their site, ensuring that they are being found organically and are driving revenue through the product pages.

Their platform is a bespoke system which allows a lot of scope for continuous improvementson their product merchandising.

This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to gain exposure within an business who are growing and work closely with a fantastic e-commerce team

The company is part of a wider group that owns other companies in their specialist sector.


The day to day:


  • Optimise conversion rate, UX AOV, site navigation, and merchandising to drive online sales as well as to reduce bounce rate, improve dwell time and increase interactions.
  • Updating banners and promotional messaging on the site
  • Maintain and update all content including product information and attributes. Content provided by the Commercial Director.
  • Analysing and monitoring online sales, conversion, and AOV to identify and prioritise major sales drivers and highlight areas for improvement.
  • Support Head of Marketing/Commercial Director in delivering seasonal promotion and price amendments across the website, in line with company trading calendar.
  • Responsible for managing and optimising product recommendations / cross sell / upsell to drive conversions and AOV.
  • Responsible for maintenance of accurate online product catalogue.
  • Managing in conjunction with Director of Operations, loading new products, new product launches and removing discontinued products in a timely and efficiently manner
  • Responsible for the merchandising of product categories and the visual merchandising of all products across all digital channels.
  • Maintain the Google shopping feed so it is up to date and accurate minimising any disqualified or unlisted products
  • Maintain a strong external outlook, reporting on online competitor activity and recommending new eCommerce and digital opportunities.
  • Participate in projects or carry out any other duties that may be outside the standard remit that will benefit the company.
  • Be an active and positive contributor to the team, always willing to represent the online trading team and be prepared to go the extra mile.

You will have/be:


  • Experience of CRO, merchandising and trading eCommerce website with track record of increasing revenue, conversion, transactions and AOV
  • Analytical and numerical with strong reporting skills
  • Experience of eCommerce platforms
  • Good knowledge of GA and site analytics
  • An advantage to have experience of Microsoft Dynamics.

This is a full-time, permanent hybrid. The offered salary for this position is up to
£30,000 dependant on experience.
