Code Electrical Ltd provide electrical services for local authority, housing association and private sector customers.
Our Electrical department is expanding into providing electrical inspections across a variety of local authorities and we have an exciting opportunity for electrical testing and inspection engineers to join our team.
Role
The purpose of the role is to carry out electrical installation testing in our customer's properties, produce reports to meet the requirements of BS7671 while always maintaining a safe working environment.
- Carry out periodic inspections of clients' electrical installations in accordance with the current edition of BS767
- Produce Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICR) which meets the requirements and quality standards of clients and external accrediting bodies (e.g., NICEIC)
- Perform other electrical tests and inspections, and produce the appropriate documentation in accordance with the current edition of BS767
- Always adhere to Company Health & Safety Policies and Procedures
- Keep abreast of changes and amendments of standards, regulations, and best practices within the electrical industry
- Complete followon remedial works, where required
Essential Criteria
- City & Guilds NVQ level
- City & Guilds 2391 or 2394/
- City & Guilds th Edition
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Relevant computer literacy to enable production and electronic submission of reports
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Flexible attitude with strong organisational skills
Job Types:

Contract length: 6 months
Pay:
£26.00-£30.00 per hour
Expected hours:
No less than 40 per week
