Senior Credit Controller

Puro Accountancy are currently supporting a specialist, professional firm who provide back office support to clients requireing Accountancy, Payroll and HR support.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Credit Controller to join our client, you will be an integral part of small team of Credit Control professionals who pride themselves on providing high quality credit control service for their client base.

About the role:

Supervise and review monthly ledgers
Liaise with external professionals, managing relationships effectively, agreeing payment plans and ensuring these are adhered to
Manage, monitor and update spreadsheets and appropriate software, ensuring systems are accurate and records are up to date
Liaise effectively with management, ensuring any accounts requiring further action are addressed appropriately
Manage and monitor client accounts and limits
Produce reports for clients and management
Working closely with the wider team, supporting them with any credit control queries
Work within agreed service agreements, and to deadlines

About you:

Previous and proven experience of working within a credit control position
Excellent communication skills with a natural ability to build and maintain excellent client relationships
Good problem solving skills
Works well in a fast paced environment with the commitment to achieving deadlines
Team focused, with a can do attitude
Excellent customer service skills
IT proficient, ideally with some experience of using Microsoft Office Sage 50, Xero, QuickBooks and Tempaid (this is not essential)
