Key aspects to this Finance Business Partner role will include:

  • Monitoring project income and expenditure. There are 70 projects with income of up to £3 million
  • Reviewing grant proposals and commercial bids
  • Managing a team of three staff.
  • Involvement in the annual budgeting process.
  • Quarterly forecasting.
  • Explaining project finance to members working on those projects, who are nonfinancial
  • Be a Part Qualified or Qualified accountant
  • Be able to convey complex accounting concepts to nonfinancial people
  • Have excellent communication skills
  • Have an ability to build and maintain professional relationships across the organisation including with senior management
