Are you looking for a new challenge working within an operations team?


We have an excellent opportunity for an Operations Team Coordinator to join the team in our London office at 20 Gracechurch.

This role will work on the operations team for the IMIU (International Mining Industry Underwriters), a branded part of HDI GlobalSpecialty.

We are a lead in global mining insurance, insuring mining operations across the globe.

Our underwriting utilises feedback from mining site visits undertaken by our team of twelve engineers, spread across four continents.

The role we are looking to fill in our operations function will be supporting the activities of those engineers and underwriters.


What you'll be doing:


  • Manage the receipt, proof reading/formatting, and distribution of risk survey reports from IMIU engineers. Manage feedback of comments from clients in relation to these reports and issue final versions.
  • Maintain an overview of engineers' travel, expenses and travel costs, liaising with IICH accounts team.
  • Assist with underwriting systems as necessary.
  • Plays a key role in facilitating and managing relationships with clients.
  • Manage the receipt, proof reading/formatting, and distribution of risk survey reports from IMIU engineers. Manage feedback of comments from clients in relation to these reports and issue final versions.
  • Proof read and format reports to ensure professional and consistent quality
  • Manage feedback on reports to ensure report accuracy
  • Manage the timely receipt of reports from engineers (i.e. manage overdue reports) and liaise with clients on outstanding reports
  • Arrange travel for engineers' site visits as required.
  • Maintain an overview of the engineers' expenses and travel costs and allocate as required between client accounts.
