About the role
We are looking for a
Cost Administrator to join our project team, working on a Joint Venture in our major projects division as part of the HS2 project in the
Birmingham Area.
You will play a key part in reconciling site and financial data and ensuring our documentation is collated for review and audit.
What you'll be doing
- Collation of audit evidence (PO, delivery ticket, invoice, remittance, timesheets, etc)
- Assist with the collation and response to audit samples
- Perform project reconciliations in order to provide control
- Assist with cost assurance and compliance checks across a range of cost processes
- Capturing findings and feeding those through to Site, the Cost Assurance Team and the Finance Team
- Improve compliance with processes through the checks and feedback above and helping to communicate key messages to site
Who we're looking for
- Strong administrative skills: organisation/prioritisation and picking things up quickly
- Strong data and numeracy skills proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Computer literate experience of Microsoft Office packages and navigation of sharepoint
- Ability to use ERP system to gather data
- Oracle ERP experience an advantage but training will be given
- Good communication skills and team building skills to be able to gather information effectively and improve processes and compliance going forward
