Bodyshop Painter / Refinisher

Location:
Derby, DE21 6HB

Salary:
Up to £15.00 per hour + time saved bonus + overtime + benefits

Full Time and Permanent - 40 hours a week - Monday to Friday - 8.30am-5.00pm

Do you have...

Previous Paint Technician experience?
An NVQ L3 Qualification or equivalent?
Experience with volume work?

What will you be doing?

Main responsibilities for the role include:

Ensuring the best quality painting, repair and finishing of motor vehicles of all types to develop and retain customer satisfaction
Carrying out work in a safe, methodical and economical manner.
To use the knowledge and skills that you have developed, to restore all customers' vehicles to our clients standards and customer expectations.
Attaining and working within manufacturers' agreed estimated repair times.
Safeguarding customer vehicles while being repaired etc.
Minimising wastage of all parts, paints and materials and in particular, the economical use of the paint

- mixing scheme.

Who are we looking for?

An NVQ L3 Qualification or equivalent
Previous Automotive Bodyshop experience (3 years +)
Great ability to colour match
Experience using water based paints
A positive cando attitude
The ability to produce work to a very high standard
A team player mentality
An awareness of Health and Safety procedures/policies.

Experience using Standox Painting System would be an advantage for this role, but no essential
