We have an exciting opportunity to expand our team

Ward MSSU has a total of 31 medical short stay inpatient beds. Our patients mainly have a 72 hour discharge plan.

We provide care to patients presenting with a variety of medical conditions and are passionate about the quality of care that our patients receive.

You will be working within a friendly and supportive team with opportunities for career progression.

The team is led by the Ward Manager Emma Meade, supported by Band 6 Deputies.

Ward MSSU is a 31 bed medical short stay ward. This is an exciting, fast paced and challenging ward to work on, with a fantastic multi-disciplinary team.

We receive our patients from the Emergency department and MAU when they are in need of a short stay in hospital.


Our teams work hard to be flexible and promote a health work/home life balance and so agile working options are automatically considered for all roles within the Trust.

Deliver high quality evidence based care.

Have the courage to speak up and report where care, clinical practice, behaviours or values go against that as set by the NMC and the Trust.
