Nominated to be navigator in a gold Duke of Edinburgh expedition team. Provided regular updates to the team on the route and suggested locations for breaks.

Strong customer service skills in various scenarios whether it be as a waiter in a busy formal restaurant setting or a supervisor at a children’s play park. Effectively dealt with customer complaints and tactfully ensured children adhered to the rules in the play park.

Digital Creativity
Maintained a TikTok page where added own creative flair by editing previously viral videos to create own successful content. One video amassed 2.5 million views with almost 400,000 likes.

Launched a Podcast (@TheBabyShrewsPodcast) on the common podcast listening sites and apps. Responsible for planning talking topics, optimising audio settings, setting up a camera and lighting equipment.

Self-taught fundamentals of editing using online tutorials and independent practice.

Established own YouTube Channel allowing the development and showcasing of editing skills using Premiere Pro and CapCut editing applications.

Organisational Skills
Worked as a team to raise over £750 for Gloucestershire NightStop charity through a sponsored 3-legged run, a bake sale, litter picking and a homeless sleep. All of which was planned and organised as part of a small group within a week.


Structured a podcast upload schedule to provide consistency for viewers and listeners and to benefit from the various social media algorithms.

Planned a month-long holiday around Europe including booking transport, accommodation and activities for 4 people around 10 European countries.  Rescheduled transport plans at short notice due to German transport strikes.

Created an A-Level revision schedule allowing me to track and maintain a healthy work life balance. Revised between 6-8 hours a day to achieve an A and 2 B’s at A-Level without an idea of next stage in career.

Work Ethic
Dedicated national Cross-Country runner who represented Gloucestershire County for 6 consecutive years in the English Schools Cross Country Championships. Self-trained; planned and carried out multiple and various targeted training sessions on a weekly basis.

Regularly volunteer to stay beyond my shift time to help the hospitality team at a DeVere Hotel during busy periods.

During Covid lockdown showed a positive attitude, self-discipline and consistency to maintain the normal school schedule and instigated a regular dialogue with my teachers.
 

Adaptability
Operate effectively in a busy restaurant with over 350 guests and 7 staff members. Responsible for greeting customers and taking them to their seats; taking orders, serving food and drink, clearing and relaying tables and taking payments.

Managed a TikTok account, in which gained experience identifying trending soundtracks/songs and applying them to own content.

During the first shift working on a boat hire lake, had to quickly adjust to a stressful situation where someone dropped their phone in the water and was able to calm the individual and radio in for support.

Demonstrated ability to play in multiple positions on a football pitch effectively and to a high standard.

Working as part of a team to run a busy restaurant smoothly and as efficiently as possible. In addition to fulfilling the typical roles of a waiter, cleared glasses and empty bottles from the hotels corridors, carrying luggage to and from rooms for coach loads of guests and assisting elderly guests getting around the hotel.


Park Supervisor - Cattle Country Farm Park  September 2021 - May 2022
Monitored multiple areas of the park resolving potential safety hazards, providing customer support when needed and keeping play areas clean and hygienic.
