Job Purpose:
As Head of Investment Delivery, you will be accountable for managing specific projects assigned to the individual in support of the function; Ensuring that that the overall capability and capacity of the function is appropriate to deliver the immediate and long-term organisation goals.
Key Responsibilities:
In this role you will be overseeing the delivery of projects to safety, cost, time and specification within governance requirements including project execution and management of plans.
Ensuring engineering issues are raised with the Local Delivery Partners (LDPs), as part of contract review processes and addressed / resolved in line with severity whilst ensuring the Local Delivery Partners comply with necessary Regulations and Standards of service.
This exciting role entails challenging project scope, designs and delivery solutions to ensure they are innovative, efficient and fit for purpose whilst overseeing and using your delivery performance skills i.e.
You will engage with multiple stakeholders, both internal and external to agree and implement a community consultation plan for projects.
Skills and Experience:
- Engineering qualification at degree level or equivalent experience
- SCO qualifications
- Membership of professional institution relevant to the role, ideally to Chartered Status
- Significant knowledge of appropriate legislation, policy and procedures; including NRSWA and TMA
- Leading and active involvement in implementing innovations and new processes
- Experience in developing, coaching and progressing capabilities of key operatives
- Engineering competences aligned to LP/MP/IP workstreams and attributed activities
- Experience of managing relationships with major Contractor Organisations
