Purpose of Position
Supporting the Private Debt Secondary team on financial modelling and assessment of investment opportunities including; management of flow of diligence materials received, preparing for and contributing to diligence calls, supporting transaction due diligence and helping with the preparation of the investment recommendations


Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting senior team members on deal negotiations and deal completion;
  • Help coordinating and executing closing legal documentation;
  • Responding to Client Service requests and supporting other secondaries business development and origination initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations and Pantheon policy (including reporting compliance risks and maintaining appropriate standards of conduct

Knowledge and Experience Required

  • Prior experience of Leveraged Finance or Direct Lending either in an investment firm or bank;
  • Ability to assess merits / risks of an investment in an insightful way and to develop an appropriate diligence plan to address concerns;
  • Ability to work in a team and to navigate the structure of a complex organization;
  • Ability to work to tight deadline with minimum supervision and to manage workloads efficiently;
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required;
  • High level of professionalism, confidentiality and discretion
  • Degree or equivalent highly desirable in a numerate discipline (finance, commerce or businessrelated, maths, physics or engineering);
  • CA or CFA would be advantageous.
